Ireneusz Solarek
Irenusz S. was born in 1963 in Łódź.
He studied at The Academy of Fine Arts named by W. Strzemiński (State Higher School of Fine Arts) in Łódź.
University of Fine Arts named by Nicolaus Copernicus
Currently, Irenuesz conducts a number of creative activities in Zbąszyń, where he works and lives. His activities varies from paintings, graphics, installations, art-objects, video-arts to para-theatre as well as running Theatre S – a theatrical group which creates an art scene for 33 years. Over the years he had held many exhibitions, workshops and festivals to his credits. Amongst them, he is the founder of The Experyment International Arts Festival. Ireneusz also runs The Baszta Gallery – a non-profit organisation, which regularly displays the most interesting examples of contemporary arts of varied artists. On top of it, he realises curatorial projects at the Museum of the Zbąszyń Land and the Region of the Goat.
